Author Bio - Chris Slater

Our devotions are written by inmates, people who have been to the bottom of the pit and have had a rope thrown to them. Because of this, they can add experience to the message of hope. These writers have experienced a life-changing touch of grace and are therefore in a position to offer words of encouragement to others in a similar position.

Through our website and our mailing ministry, HOHPM has given these inmates an opportunity to spread His Word past the prison wall both to the incarcerated and to the free world.

These inmates are not presenting different denominational doctrine, but the Doctrine of Jesus Christ. The desire of each writer is to honor God and to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
